What will happen to Chinese prices if or when export volumes begin to fall?

European steel industry body Eurofer has refiled its complaint against alleged dumping of products by China and Taiwan. Metal Bulletin Research (MBR) considers its chances for success.

MBR estimates that, in 2020, finished steel consumption in East Asia and Southeast Asia (excluding China) will exceed 250 million tonnes.
